We assembled around the table and dug into turkey (Ben tackled the big drumstick, Fred Flintstone-style), herby rich stuffing, gravy, cheesy-bacony mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts, Ben’s world famous cranberries, corn, and roasted carrots and parnips. Lots of veggies for this veggie and even a veggie stuffing and potatoes were prepared on the side for me. I was spoiled.
Everything was scrumptious as usual and seconds were had. Speaking of seconds, thirds and maybe even a fourth by me, copious amounts of wine was brought by friends Frank and Linda. Glug, glug! For dessert we had the lemon tart I made, served with vanilla creme and raspberries.
